About Avermond Test Prep

Independent TOEFL preparation, built to be checked.

Avermond helps students understand and practise the current TOEFL iBT® test. We publish free guides and tools, full-length practice mocks and AI-assisted practice feedback. Accuracy matters, so this page explains where our facts come from, how content is reviewed and how to report a problem.

Who we are

A focused, independent preparation service

Avermond Test Prep is operated by Concrete Dynamics UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Germany. We build preparation material for international students who need a clear route from the official test specification to useful, realistic practice.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by ETS. TOEFL® and TOEFL iBT® are registered trademarks of ETS. Official tests and official scores are provided only by ETS.

What Avermond provides

  • Plain-language guides to the current TOEFL format
  • Original practice questions and full-length mock tests
  • Practice score estimates and section-level feedback
  • Free planning and readiness tools

Practice scores are estimates, not official TOEFL results and not guarantees of a future score.

Editorial policy

How we research and review factual content

1. Start with primary sources

Format, timing, score and test-day claims are checked against ETS specifications and test-taker guidance. Comparisons use the relevant test owner or institution, such as IELTS or a university, rather than third-party summaries where a primary source exists.

2. Separate fact from guidance

Official facts are attributed and linked. Calculations, pacing suggestions, interpretations and study advice are labelled as Avermond guidance so readers can distinguish them from statements made by ETS.

3. Recheck when the test changes

High-impact pages are reviewed when ETS announces a change. Public guides carry publication and modification dates in their structured data, while visible source notes show the review date and primary references.

Originality & independence

Practice material is written for Avermond

Our practice passages, prompts, questions and answer explanations are created for Avermond. We use official specifications to understand the skills and task structures being tested; we do not reproduce secure test content or present recalled questions as authentic exam material.

Commercial considerations do not change our description of the official test. We do not accept payment from ETS or universities for favourable editorial coverage.

Use of AI

Assistance is disclosed; responsibility stays with us

AI tools may assist drafting, editing, software development and practice feedback. Factual claims intended for publication are checked against identified sources rather than treated as correct because an AI produced them.

Writing and Speaking feedback may be AI-generated and is labelled accordingly. It is practice guidance, not human examiner feedback and not an official score.

Corrections & contact

If something is wrong, tell us.

Test policies change and mistakes can happen. Send the page URL, the statement in question and—if possible—the primary source that conflicts with it to support@avermond.com. We investigate substantive reports and update the page when a correction is warranted.

For how account, mock and grading data are handled, read our Privacy Policy. Company and contact details are in the Legal Notice.
