A separate line · Avermond Learning
A deliberately separate service for British-curriculum families abroad, home-education households, retake students and schools. It shares Avermond's standards — but has its own team, its own tools, and safeguarding built in from the start.
Who it's for
Students in British-curriculum international schools who want structured revision and exam-board precision.
Families educating at home who need curriculum alignment, scheduling and expert subject support.
Focused sprints before the November and June series to turn a near-miss into the grade you need.
Low-cost supplemental materials and cohorts that extend what a school already offers.
Our infrastructure
Avermond Learning runs on real infrastructure — a mock-exam environment, subject consulting, and a maintained materials & information hub — the same disciplined system we apply to admissions.
Timed, past-paper-style mocks under exam conditions for each board (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, Cambridge IGCSE), with examiner-style marking and a grade-boundary report.
Subject and exam-board strategy, a revision timetable built around the exam series, and honest guidance on where to focus for the biggest grade gains.
Exam-board-aligned notes, topic question banks, mark schemes and specification maps — kept current with each board's syllabus.
Learning options
Intensive small-group sprints timed to the exam series, built around exam-board specifications and marking criteria.
Weekly tutoring with a vetted subject specialist, with progress tracking and parent updates.
Localised, exam-aligned resources licensed per student, per term — anchored to school-budget realities.
Non-negotiable
Because we work with learners under 18, we hold ourselves to a school-grade standard even though we are not a school. It is the sensible benchmark for good practice — and it is the reason families can trust us with their children.
A note on qualifications. We provide tutoring, materials, consulting and mock assessments. We are not an awarding body: our materials are not official exam content, and we do not issue formal results. Where families need official Pearson or Cambridge qualifications, we point them to approved centres.
Tell us the subjects, the exam board and the timeline, and we'll propose a plan.
